Sue & Dave and their helpful staff are terrific. From start to finish, our stay (this was our 2nd visit) was delightful. The surroundings are lovely and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is beautifully presented & delicious. The marina view from the terrace is quaint and relaxing. Looking forward to our next stay at this friendly, 1st class inn!!!
This inn was beautiful. The staff there are extremely friendly and want to make your stay as fun and comfortable as possible. The rooms were in excellent condition, clean and inviting. The landscape was serene and well kept. The area has many different things to do, 15 minutes from Essex Steam Train and 20-30 minutes from Mystic, and many options within walking distance. My wife and I live in Connecticut and felt like we were far from home. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to friends and family.
We have been to the Inn twice, once last year and two weeks ago. The owners and staff is always very friendly and the rooms & inn are always spacious & lovely to stay at. They breakfast spread is always great too. We have always enjoyed our time there and will definitely be going back again sometime.
One word - Wow! I surprised my boyfriend with a birthday weekend getaway. It was PERFECT in more ways that one. We stayed in room 6 in the main house which had gorgeous views of the marina. Upon arrival, they even had a handwritten birthday card for him! Easily walk to nearby restaurants including the newly remodeled Niantic Boardwalk - definitely a must see! Breakfast in the morning is so warming and delightful, cute inn mugs somehow made my coffee taste even better than it already was. They served pumpkin French toast one morning and a delicious individual muffin sized quiche the next. Cookies in the afternoon, and complimentary bottled waters, sodas...and wine!! We went to Mystic Seaport which was about 35 minutes away, and a ride on the nearby Essex steam train for a cozy one of a kind dinner that was about 25 minutes or so away (definitely have to go!!!). The staff were so kind and always made sure we had everything we needed. I cannot say enough amazing things about this B&B!!! We cannot wait to go back again!!!
Probably the nicest and most relaxing place I have every stayed. Every single person, from the Inn Keepers to the housekeeping staff, is dedicated to making sure that your stay is perfect in every way. Saying Sue and Dave are great is a huge understatement. What they have created at the Inn is very special and I encourage you to pay a visit and see for yourself.
